Statement from our driver- "i was driving my recently issued 2019 tahoe and the steering wheel locked up. Fortunately, i was travelling at low speed and the brakes worked. Reverse did not work (it acted like neutral). The steering stayed locked up for quite a while, until i turned the engine and all the electronics off and let it sit that way for 3-5 minutes."
