In attempts to stop due to vehicles traveling in front of mine had come to abrupt stops my brakes failed to provide adequate stopping while straight line steering. At freeway speeds the dic message to service brakes soon appears. While this occurred perhaps 2 or 3 times during a [redacted] originally, now it only appears perhaps once every 300 miles. Can be cleared by reset button in control panel. Dealer unable to trace fault even after shown message on dash. Front doors do not drain water properly - sure to lead to premature rust-out of lower panels. *tr
