We've put 21,000 miles on these tires in 3 years and have tire rumbles, vibration while driving and side wall is cracking and flaking away. Brought to the dealer where we got the tires from and they have no idea what's causing it. Seems to me that several people are having this issue. There needs to be a recall for these tires before someone gets hurt while driving.

Approximately 5:50 p.m. As my daughter and i were driving down a busy road the car stopped without warning. Many of the dashboard lights came on and the steering locked. I was able to crank again to pull it into a business parking lot. I was not completely in the parking space and was concerned about upsetting the flow of traffic for this business, but could not crank the car to get it completely in the parking…

The vehicle we currently own and two previous vehicles we have owned all have had the same problem in the front end. It is a known problem that chevrolet tahoes have and although is has not caused an accident or injury it does pose a problem and chevrolet will not issue a recall. A steering shaft must be replaced and the cost for the part alone is over $ 80.00 plus labor to install. The first vehicle we had we spent…

2005 tahoe intermediate steering shaft began to rattle at 20,000 miles. Dealer repair was to "grease intermediate shaft". This remedied the problem for another 30,000 miles. When i spoke to dealer about problem (out of warranty) they explained that it "wasn't a safety problem, just irritating rattle because grease had worked its way out of shaft again." the fix? Replace shaft with new composite shaft. Cost: $240.00.…
