    Body

    All areas of my paint is peeling, cracking and de laminating as of last year. The car pretty much sat for 10 years with only 20000 miles and was in excellent condition. I bought it in 2012 and i've driven it daily for 4 years and it now has 64000 miles. I just googled and found a recall on the chevy paint problem but chevrolet said there was no recalls on my vehicle and that i had no recourse.

    The vehicle has shown significant signs of rust under the rubber stripping and roof rack. Due to rust being hidden under the roof rack or behind the weatherstripping, problem was not discovered until after end of warranty period. Contacted manufacture and was informed vehicle was out of warranty thus no claim could be filed. It appears the inserts in the roof contributed to the rust problem as the roof rusted…
