I took my 2001 chevy tahoe to the local dealer to fix a sticking gas pedal. Since the vehicle is under the original warranty (3 yr/36,000 mile), i should not incur the cost of repair. And with only 25,000 miles, a sticking gas pedal is not normal. However, chevrolet/gm does not agree (please see email traffic). I feel that this "carbon buildup" is a known defect and a safety issue - not a normal emissions operation.…

They had a service bulletin on it and repaired it at a cost of $193.59, but truthfully $139.95 directly related.
