There is nhtsa recall campaign 05v379000 concerning the anti lock brakes. This vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall, but it is not included in the recall due to vin. Dealers have been telling me that this recall does not cover 2000 tahoe with the old body style (ie. As indicated by the vin). *nm

Problems with vehicle's anti-lock brakes every time the consumer went to drive the anti-lock brakes will cut on. While driving the abs brakes engaged and would not disengage although the ignition switch was turned off and the key was removed.
