My dash has been cracking and i have a crack in between the passenger airbag. I'm very concerned about this problem. I'm afraid that the airbag can deploy and enger my passenger in there face. I've tried to address this issue with the dealership, but i've gotten no help, especially now since my warranty has expired. I really hope i can get some help with this major problem and concern i have with my dash.

I noticed a crack in my dashboard going to my air bag on the passenger side. The crack in the dashboard could possibly alter the deployment of the passenger airbag and has compromised the integrity of the dashboard as a whole. Dash cracked on my 2009 chevrolet tahoe cracked around the airbags in about the year of 2013. If the airbags should deploy, the dash would most likely send shards of the dash flying. The dash cracked and split around the airbag without any anything setting on the dash. The tahoe has been located in california.

Like everyone else i have spoken to with 2007-2013 year model chevrolet vehicles my dashboard is cracked because of a design flaw. I am worried that my passenger side air bag will not work correctly because of the crack. I have contacted gm for help but they offer nothing. Dashboard is cracking in multiple places, pieces falling off inside dash and rattling. 2 places on dash where passenger airbag deploys. This has happened over the past 3 years and keeps getting worse.
