I have 2 large cracks in the dashboard of my 2009 chevy tahoe ltz. I have always kept a sunshield in the window to reduce interior heat and damage to dash. But, this didn't work. Cracked dashboard and spreading - my 2009 dashboard has large cracks in several places and is now exposing the electrical underneath. Not only do i find this very alarming seeing as the airbags are underneath but the problem is only getting worse , in motion or not , and the rattling sounds of all the pieces have become super annoying. Like everyone else i have spoken to with 2007-2013 year model chevrolet vehicles my dashboard is cracked because of a design flaw. I am worried that my passenger side air bag will not work correctly because of the crack. I have contacted gm for help but they offer nothing.
