The dashboard has cracked in several places and is becoming a safety issue as well as being an annoyance (excessive rattling) and aesthetic issue. The plastic dashboard is becoming loose and unstable. We are finding this is a common issue with 2007 tahoes. Gm does not appear to be concerned with this issue and has failed to issue a recall. Dash has cracked in two separate areas. One above the driver side instrument panel and one above the passenger side airbag. I called two different chevrolet dealerships on two separate occasions, neither of which willing to correct or report to gm. Entire repair would be at owner expense. Dash has had very little sunlight exposure.

I dont understand why gm will not fix the issue with cracks in the dash! It is u safe as one is located right at the passenger side airbag. What it i have an accident and this breaks and parts fly and hu6a passenger. This is not safe.

Gas mileage on my 2007 chevy tahoe is much worse than the advertised 21mpg. I am lucky if i get 13mpg on regular gasoline. Don't get me started on the e85 scam - less mpg and only $0.30 cheaper than regular gasoline? The dealer scammed me into believing it was an apples to apples comparison of e85 and gas.

I leased a 2007 tahoe in june 2006. After about 10k or 15k i began to hear alot of noise when turning left or right. I asked the tahoe dealership to check it out and they stated it was not a problem. At 3700 miles noticed front tires were feathering. After visiting dealer and questioning they asked if i had tires rotated? I explained the mileage on the vehicle was too low so they suggested rotating and coming back. Also, window trim on 2 rear windows coming off since first day of ownership, recently been told this is a recall and a known problem.
